IgniteATL: Speaker List, More Space

IgniteATL: Speaker List, More Space

We’re doing two things at once today – opening up 100 more seats for IgniteATL (the absolute last space expansion we can handle) and announcing the speakers for the very first IgniteATL.

Space

We’ve had such an overwhelming response for IgniteATL that we’ve arranged for overflow space right next to the main auditorium at GTRI’s conference center. We can now hold 425 – maximum. That’s 225 in the auditorium and 200 in the overflow area. We’ll be able to mingle in the common area but the first arrivals will get first dibs on the auditorium. We’ll fit as many as possible in the auditorium and then start filling up the overflow area. We’ll be simulcasting all presentations in real-time into the overflow room, which is immediately next-door to the Auditorium.

We’ve opened up an addition 125 seats at Meetup.com. Go RSVP as fast as you can before they’re gone! Remember, invite people that don’t normally come out to these sorts of things!

Speakers

Thanks to everybody who applied to speak at IgniteATL! We really appreciate the overwhelming response and will be launching a form soon for people who want to present at the next IgniteATL (look for the first quarter of 2010 to feature our next event).

Here are some of the speakers for the inaugural IgniteATL, in alphabetical order. We’re waiting to hear back from a few more people, and will finalize this in the next few days. It’s safe to assume if you haven’t been contacted that we’ve filled our slots!

Topics

Expect to hear about topics that you may not associate with the above names. Don’t draw any conclusions – there are plenty of surprises to be had! The event promises to be tons of fun – so come on out and bring a few friends!

Mailing List

Please don’t forget to sign up for the mailing list. We’ll likely not use Meetup.com for the next event so we won’t be able to reach out to people through their internal mailing tools much longer.

Feel free to reach out with any questions!
